Youth, Children and Families at St Lawrence Church

Hi – I’m Rachel and I look after the Youth, Children’s and Families Activities here at St Lawrence Church! I am part of the Centenary Project, which provides me with central training and support and the chance to network with other Youth, Children’s and Families Workers in the South Yorkshire area.

If you see me out and about, do say hi! You can contact me for any reason (maybe just send me your favourite joke!) on rachel.ridler@centenaryproject.org.uk

Here at St Lawrence we have lots going on for children, families and young people too. We are a church in the centre of the community here in Hatfield, so please do feel welcome to join us at any of the events or activities listed below, and click on the pictures to find out more information.

Messy Church

Every 1st Sunday of the month at 10am

Messy Church is a fun way of being church for families and those of all ages! We spend time doing crafts together, eating together and celebrating together.

Each week will have a theme and there is time for children and adults to do a range of crafts around the church building, before coming together to share stories, songs and food. There is no need to book or tell us that you are coming. We look forward to meeting you and your family!

You can join our Messy Church Group on Facebook to find out more, including how we are meeting during lockdown.

Little Lions For Babies and Toddlers

Thursdays

Thursdays are our Little Lions days and we’d love for you to join us from 1-2:30pm on the Barn Field when it’s sunny, and in church when its not. Sessions are £2 per adult, all children and babies FREE. This includes a snack and drink for the children, tea and coffee for adults. We have lots of fun playing, singing and hearing Bible stories together.
