Behind our church we have a small building, affectionately named “The Barn”. It has been used for PCC meetings, gentle exercise classes, coffee mornings and more.
The Barn has recently been refurbished thanks to grants from Doncaster Council for re-opening post COVID-19. The building has been fully damp proofed, replastered, new heating system installed, painted and new doors on our storage, as well as brand new flooring, windows and blinds. It is now much warmer ready for winter meetings and activities, as well as easier to clean.

The Barn also has a small kitchen and toilet, with both ramped and stair access to the building. It opens onto a small car park which fits around 10 cars with a field. Our field now contains a special outdoor play corner for our Little Lions Toddler Group.
The Barn has been home to many events and activities in the past including:
- community coffee mornings
- chair based exercise groups
- local history presentations
- ladies meals
- toddler group
- Sunday School
- Garden Party tearoom
We are excited to now be able to use the building to its full potential again, with the Barn being home to Kay and Dan’s Childcare Tuesday-Friday termtime, and our Hatfield Heroes Youth Group on Sunday Evenings.
