Meet The Team

The Revd Chris Bishop

Vicar of Hatfield

Chris has been the Parish Priest at Hatfield since July 2024. He is married to Joy and they have four children: Theo, Lazarus, Talitha & Judah as well as two kittens!

Chris loves seeing people’s lives being transformed by God and His Kingdom breaking through. His main priorities  are seeing the whole church family grow in spiritual depth & love of the Lord Jesus and also seeing our church here in Hatfield grow in number.

When he’s not working, Chris will probably be found spending time with his family, especially exploring the outdoors. He is a musician, playing keys, and he enjoys good food and great company.

Chris is very happy to be contacted to arrange a convenient time for any of the following;

  • a conversation for spiritual guidance and advice
  • house blessings
  • visiting parishioners, especially the sick
  • ministry at the time of death (day or night)
  • the Sacrament of Reconciliation & forgiveness

For Wedding & Christening enquiries simply attend one of our services, where you will be able to speak with Chris directly.
